At Medikits BD, your health and satisfaction are our top priorities. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or may arrive with an issue. This policy outlines how we handle returns and refunds to ensure a fair experience for all our customers.
1. Return Eligibility Window
You have 3 days from the date you receive your health monitor to request a return. After 3 days, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Conditions for Returns
To ensure the safety and hygiene of our medical devices, all returned items must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original, unopened packaging.
- Seals: If the product box has a security seal, it must be intact. Opened or tampered-with medical devices cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation email.
- Accessories: All manuals, batteries, charging cables, and warranty cards must be included in the return package.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are exempt from being returned:
- Items purchased during a “Final Sale” or “Clearance” promotion.
- Devices that have been used or show signs of wear.
- Consumable items (such as lancets, test strips, or electrode pads) if the internal packaging has been opened.
4. Defective or Damaged Items (Dead on Arrival)
If your health monitor is defective or was damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will provide a pre-paid shipping label or arrange for a pickup for the defective unit.
- Once the defect is verified by our technical team, we will send a brand-new replacement at no extra cost to you or issue a full refund.
5. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at info@medikitsbd.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
- Approval: Our team will review your request and send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on where to send the package.
- Packaging: Securely pack the item to prevent damage during transit. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
6. Shipping Costs
- Customer Error/Change of Mind: If you are returning an item because you no longer want it, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.
- Business Error: If the return is due to our error (wrong item sent or defective product), we will cover all shipping costs.
7. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Notification: We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund is approved or rejected based on the condition.
- Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed.
- Method: The credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., bKash, Nagad, or Credit Card).
- Timeline: Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider’s policies.
8. Restocking Fee
For “Change of Mind” returns on high-value health monitors, a 10% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund to cover the costs of technical inspection and re-calibration.
